Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (2023)

One of the best mop manufacturers is BISSELL. Over the years, BISSELL has manufactured some excellent mops, and many of these mops are found in their “Spinwave” product line.

Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (1)

What the BISSELL Spinwave mops offer is a mop that relies on a mop pad that spins at a 360-degree angle. It spins quickly, and this allows some very thorough and efficient scrubbing to take place. As this scrubbing takes place, the dirt and gunk that is on the floor you are mopping is loosened up, and then removed from that floor.

Many people are drawn to the different Bissell Spinwave mops that are available, due to the efficiency and speed that they offer. And many people are also drawn to them because they are quite affordable, as well.

Here’s the thing, though, Bissell has manufactured a bunch of different Spinwave mops. There are so many choices available that it isn’t always easy to find the one that is right for you or even just the one that seems like a decent choice.

In this guide, we’re going to solve that problem by looking at three of the best Bissell Spinwave mops. These are the best of the best, and chances are, there’s a mop in this guide that is perfect for you!

Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (5)

To start, we’re going to look at the Bissell Spinwave. Then, we’re going to look at the BISSELL Spinwave Cordless. And, finally, we’re going to look at the Bissell Spinwave Plus!

What Does The Bissell Spinwave Offer?

Right off the bat, you’ll notice that the BISSELL Spinwave is a very simple mop. Everything is laid out clearly and simply, and all of the features are readily apparent when you first look at the mop. But, along with that, the entire design radiates simplicity and easiness that, for a lot of people, is quite appealing.

Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (6)

When you pick up the mop and begin to move it around and set it up, things feel good. Things feel the way they’re supposed to. This is because Bissell spends a lot of time designing their mops – and other cleaning devices, it must be said – so that they feel good, and so that they’re easy to use and easy to move around.

On the bottom of the Bissell Spinwave, within the steam mopping pad, there are two little sections. These two sections hold a separate mopping pad. You just put the two mopping pads that you want, and then, when you are using the Bissell Spinwave, they rotate at 360-degrees and scrub your floors.

There are two different types of mop pads that Bissell gives you. You have soft-touch pads, which are lightly textured mop pads that are designed for simple messes and stains. If your floors aren’t that dirty, then it’s best to use this kind of mop pad. And then, you have scrubby pads, which are for thick and nasty messes and stains that require some extra mopping power.

Since this is a mop, you’ll be using these mopping pads in conjunction with water and, if you want, some cleaning solution. Those two liquids go into a small tank. While you are mopping, you can press a button, and then the water will spray out, and you can then mop on the space where the water goes. Using a cleaning solution isn’t a necessity, but it can make the mopping process a little easier, depending on what you are mopping.

Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (7)

While the Bissell Spinwave is a very mobile and lightweight mop, it’s also a corded mop. For most people, this is going to be fine. Especially since the cord is 22-feet long, but for others, it may be a little annoying to deal with.

In the end, though, the BISSELL Spinwave is a fantastic mop that gives you a ton of cleaning power, a simple design, and a very enjoyable and pleasant mopping experience!

Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (8)

Bissell Spinwave Cordless

Just as the name implies, the Bissell Spinwave Cordless is a cordless Spinwave mop. It doesn’t rely on a power cord of any sort. Instead, it relies on a battery.

Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (9)

Here’s the thing about this battery, while it does add a great deal of mobility and flexibility to the mop, it has very short battery life. The battery only lasts for around twenty minutes. Sometimes a little less, and sometimes a little more, but not by a lot.

For some people, they don’t need a lot of time to mop, but for others, twenty minutes is simply too little time to complete the mopping that needs to be done.

Regardless of the battery life, though, the BISSELL Spinwave Cordless offers some excellent features. Many of these features are quite similar to the ones that you’ll find on the BISSELL Spinwave, but that’s okay, because the Bissell Spinwave is an excellent mop, and the Bissell Spinwave Cordless simply adds onto and adjusts those features.

You have access to two different types of mop pads. Most of the time, you’ll probably be using the soft mop pads, because they’re a lot better for more basic cleaning. But, if you have some really big and thick messes, then the scrubby mop pads are the better choice. That’s because these scrubby mop pads are great at scrubbing up all kinds of nasty dirt, grime, and gunk. These are the same mop pads that the Bissell Spinwave offers, and they’re washable, rather than disposable. So, you can use them over and over again.

Through the use of those mop pads, as well as the water and cleaning solution that you use while mopping, the BISSELL Spinwave Cordless can clean any hard floor. It can remove the gunk and grime that is on your floors, and ensure that all of that stuff is gone for good.

Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (10)

While these features are almost the same as the features found in the Bissell Spinwave, the Bissell Spinwave Cordless does have one other unique feature. This feature involves a storage tray that is right above the mopping pad area. In this little storage tray, you can place the mopping pads that you aren’t using, so that way you don’t accidentally lose them.

If you’re looking for a good cordless Spinwave mop, and don’t mind some of the difficulties that this cordless feature brings, then the Bissell Spinwave Cordless is an excellent mop!

Bissell Spinwave Plus

When you first look at the Bissell Spinwave Plus, you’ll probably notice that it doesn’t look that much different from the Bissell Spinwave, or the Bissell Spinwave Cordless.

But, unlike the Bissell Spinwave Cordless, the Bissell Spinwave Plus is not a cordless mop. The cord that you use is twenty-two feet long, which should be long enough for most mopping situations.

Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (12)

Here’s the thing, the Bissell Spinwave Plus is a continuation of the basic features that the Bissell Spinwave set up, and it doesn’t add a lot to them. Instead, it simply adds a few small things that make the overall mopping experience a little easier.

To use this Spinwave mop, you need to put some water into the tank, and some cleaning solution, if you want. What’s nice is that BISSELL includes two eight-ounce bottles of Multi-Surface Formula and two eight-ounce bottles of Wood Floor Formula. These make the mopping process easier and ensure that you’re able to get rid of whatever gunk and grime are on your floor.

The two Bissell Spinwave mops that we looked at previously came with four mop pads. Two soft mop pads, and two scrubby mop pads. The Bissell Spinwave Plus isn’t any different in this regard, because those are the mop pads that you’re going to be using.

But, instead of only coming with two soft mop pads, this Spinwave mop comes with four of them! This is a nice addition that can make it easier since you won’t have to spend as much time washing these mop pads. And, if one of them breaks down, you’ll have a few extras that you can use, which is always nice.

When it comes to the other features and design attributes that the Bissell Spinwave Plus offers, there isn’t much else to say. In more ways than one, the Bissell Spinwave Plus is the same Spinwave mop as the Bissell Spinwave. Sure, it improves upon a couple of things here and there, and it does give you more cleaning solutions and two extra mop pads, but there isn’t a lot else that you’re going to find.

Bissell Spinwave vs Spinwave Cordless vs Spinwave Plus (13)

If you’re on the market for a good Bissell Spinwave mop, and you want one that comes with some extra mop pads and extra cleaning solution, as well as a nice, slick, and mobile design, then the Bissell Spinwave Plus is an excellent choice! It may not offer a lot in the way of novel features or design traits, but it’s super affordable, and has all of the great features that the Bissell Spinwave offers!
